I absolutely love the study of Astrology. Reading my horoscope every once in a while is fun! But there are a lot of people who believe it’s just a bunch of bogus generalizations that could apply to anyone. So then why, I ask you, is it so bloody bang on??
Fortune cookies, planetary alignment, fate in the stars… I 100% believe in this stuff. 🙂
Maybe it’s just because I’m a typical Pisces woman: sensitive yet outgoing, hyperactive tendencies, very positive and nurturing… I mean this is totally me in a nutshell.

I agree they can be spot on!!! My hit the nail on the head yesterday for me. “What are you afraid of, Pisces? Is it contact with other people? It’s as if an invisible rope were holding you back from getting close to people, or worse, pulling you back. What’s this about? You’re going through a period that’s closely linked to your past. I am definitely in the “all horoscopes are crap” category of people. In high school, I remember we had to do a physics problem where we calculated the gravitational pull on a baby from the doctor delivering the child and the planets orbiting the solar system. The doctor actually had more of an effect than any of the other planets. The same goes for the Sun and the nearby stars.
At any rate, I also believe people can be wonderful on their own. So, while you might feel that the stars have given you a slight push in certain directions, I would respectfully disagree and say you are plenty wonderful by your own design.

Glad someone wrote about this. I am really fascinated by astrology and I do believe in it. Being an Indian, it is a part of who we are. But then it is not something forced upon us. It’s up to you to believe in it or not.
I think the ones we read in the newspaper do not carry much weight. First of all they tell you about a particular zodiac. No one cares about the cusp sign people. Dates actually do matter. If one is in the beginning or the end dates of a zodiac, they do have certain characteristics of the near zodiac sign. Also your zodiac sign depicts what you are from outside, what people see. But your moon sign, which is according to the first letter sound of your name tells you how you are from inside.. And whatever name people call us, that name has a certain energy either good, bad or neutral around us. This is to tell something that we already are and to understand ourselves better. And about the future, try seeing it through your full name, birth date, exact birth time and the place where you were born. It is surely to tell you what the future has in you.
And something from my experience and what my elders tell me is that astrology does tell you the possibilities of things.. Say that you can get a certain great job somewhere.. But it doesn’t mean we stop working towards it and just sit. We will obviously not achieve it then. Astrology according to me is what god has written for you through stars and also what you make of it.

Thank you so much for your input hun! I love learning about Astrology and also think it’s fascinating . I think it’s comparable to “The Secret” if you’ve ever read that book you can see how it all ties in with working towards a goal and staying positive throughout the process. Things don’t just fall into your lap, you have to create your destiny and no matter what you believe if you are optimistic and good to the universe then good things will happen 🙂 Yes let’s chat darling anytime shoot me a FB msg.
