Thursday Thoughts: Bill C-51=Anti-Terror?

Bill C-51 terrifies me.

A frightening occurrence is happening in Canada right now. Our freedoms and human rights are literally being ripped away from us before our very eyes. Bill C-51, a new anti-terrorism bill was passed recently in parliament and it outlines new laws that completely invade our privacy. Secret Police can monitor every phone call, every mouse click and every word we say.

If you love the environment, protest the pipelines, support political parties against Bill C-51 or even say somewhere public that you are against a specific government official, you could be red flagged.

Anti-Terror? I think this bill is the complete opposite. Despite the numerous marches, rallies and protests
Bill C-51 passed. Now Canada is basically considered a “police state”.

Alberta had an incredible day during their provincial elections. After 44 years the votes have finally dropped the Conservative Party out. Pretty much instantaneously, Prime Minister Stephen Harper sold his house in Calgary.

Will the rest of Canada do the same? Will BC do the same?

Who actually agrees with this kind of bill? A bill that strips us of our basic human rights and freedom of speech.

Don’t know what Stephen Harper has already done since he’s been in power? You may want to get informed: Canadians.org

Bill C-51 violates the very constitution our country was built on. Harper plans to change everything we stand for and in doing so changes the face of Canada. This man is a fear mongering dictator and he has to be stopped.  In October’s upcoming election, Canada has a choice: vote Harper out or we are all doomed.

Will this post be red flagged? I am NOT a terrorist.
